I dont know. Something about this picture...just makes me laugh. This lady is somewhere in a third world country, puffin on a smoke, lookin up at the sun during a solar eclipse with cardboard Pepsi sunglasses on. Found the pic at Drudges website.

Well...now that Marcie is no longer posting on this site...I need to fill you guys in once in a while on what is going on with the wedding. This past weekend, we looked at two jewelers for my ring. The first place had a decent selection, but nothing that really caught my eye. I guess, Im picky. I like gold, yellow gold..etc; but I didnt want a ring that was ALL gold or yellow gold. I wanted a mixture, like gold and silver. I didnt want just a plain jane ring either, but I didnt wa...

This is a branch off of a thread I made about a month ago about extremely easy stuff that you cant do. I thought about that thread and then thought about stuff that maybe people wanted to do at one time in their life, but havent, at least not yet. For example...when I was younger, I wanted to be a radio DJ. I ended up getting a degree in broadcasting and I worked in all aspects of radio about 6 years back; had a blast and want to get back into it, or possibly voice stuff in the futur...

Man this sucks. I mean...Flanders...this suck-diddly-ucks. Last Friday, in the afternoon...I started to feel a slower...I could tell I was getting a cold or something...wasnt sure exactly what it was. Marcie started to come down with the same thing. She ended up having a hard time sitting or laying down because her head hurt a lot when she tried to do that. I ended up going to bed that night just feeling punky. I woke up early the next morning to go to Work at Wal Mart and I wasn...

We do easy stuff all the time....like breathing for example. Others take effort on our behalf and it almost always is something that is a non-thinking skill...coming from memorization and endless learning, practice and use. But...I betcha that some people have a hard time with one or two simple things that should be fairly simple to do. I guess its one of those things that really torks me off...mainly because I don't know what is causing it. Its a really simple matter really. I can't...

So, last year was the first year i did my taxes on my own. I ended up going online and using Turbo Tax and it worked out pretty slick and i got my refund pretty quickly. This year, I am using them again and paying a little more so I can get some more options or something. I think Im just going to see what I can get back, and then go to H&R Block or somewhere else to pay less. Anywho..I dont know what I can take off of my taxes, with the overall goal of getting a larger refund back. ...

When I was younger, I attended a Catholic parochial school from K-6. We knew what was appropriate to bring and not to bring to school. One of my teachers had a drawer in her desk...called her June Drawer. The drawer was simple. Bring something to school, she put it in her drawer until June when school got out. Then you could get it back. Working in my ISS room...on a daily basis, I see kids bring stuff just in that room that they are not supposed to bring to school. They try to hi...

Well its simple. I love to cook and I am the chef in the family of Marcie and I. But, of all the things I CAN do, I can't cook a steak. Well I suppose there are many ways to cook a steak: in the pan, George Foreman grill, oven, outdoor grill...etc. I haven't experimented enough to figure out the 'best way' to cook a steak. When I was a teen, I loved experimenting. My mom bought all the food so I didn't lose out if something bombed. One day I wanted to cook a steak for dinner. But ...

So here I am in my room at school, watching over the kids who can't seem to control themselves. They make a mess of this room and from time to time, leave a mess for the custodian to clean up. Just today, I had a student who left decent sized pile of pencil pieces on the floor. He refused to pick it up. I told him its not the custodians job to pick up his crap. Well jeesh, that started a discussion that sort of I can't win. While custodians jobs are to clean things and make the ...

My mom used to make stir fry a lot more when I was younger, but then as I got older...I think the wok reusted beyond hope. I liked it and she made a mean stir fry. Ive been trying to get back into making more of it and just recently for Christmas, I got a Wok from my Dad and some asian cook books from my brother. I've used it about twice a week since I got it...mainly making lunch for work at school or dinner at Wal Mart. Its a regular steel wok...not a teflon coated one, so it has to...

This is sort of a branch off of my post yesterday about student accountability. One thing I have been thinking about is cell phones...well that and student usage of marijuanna. Pretty much, seperate things, but still. One thing I see alot nowadays are cell phones in school. The school I work at has a cell phone policy, in that cell phones are not allowed on campus. Students ignore the policy and bring them anyways, sometimes flat out refusing to turn them over to administration. I...

A bout a month or so, I found a link on the net to a website called Happynews.com Link , and I went to the site. The website was built after a guy got tired of reading all the negative stuff in the news. If you go to any news webpage (cnn, msnbc, drudge, are my top 3 as well as occasionally fox), its all filled with depressing negative stuff. On the news, they often have a weird news of the day clip just to bring something different to the mix. True, there are good, positive stories fr...

Well, talk about short notice...jeesh. I have a second job so Im working during the day and at night most of the time and I dont seem to notice the time flying by. Now Christmas is only a few days away and Im working so much that I dont even notice it or feel excited like I normally do. Normally I wouldnt post something like this on here, but I need some advice quick, lol, since I forgot that in less than 24 hours, we will be on the other side of the state. Anywho...My girlfriend and ...

Hi all, Im not writing nearly as much as I thought...usually when Im at work and have some free time (perks)...I get online and post something (hence my job postings)....but Ive been slacking off. Nothing of importance to write about. But...in my new position as supervisor of.........a room that students are sent to when they misbehave, trying to stay somewhat anonymous on here in a sense; I figured it would be good to present the schools administration with a spreadsheet. W...

Mind you, we dont have any good pictures of us together, just kinda crappy ones....but what the heck.....why not show you our lives, somewhat. And yeah...Im taking a break from ...
