Today, we finally got to get in the truck and head off on the road. We had some time in the simulators yesterday getting used to the shifting. Our school even has rather large textbooks that accompany their training course so we have lots of homework to do each night, but thats ok. I feel bad for my recruiter. Well I havent posted anything since last week when I got my job offer. Figured I would wait until my physical came and went. And so I sit here with my DOT medical card, meaning I passed. Woke up this morning, went to a place for a drug test, then zipped across town for the DOT physical, which took about a half hour or so. Then ended up doing another drug test. Well since we moved out here to western WY, I've looked and applied for teaching jobs. There are very (next to none) few school districts in the area so my teaching opportunities are very limited. I had an interview, but didn't get the job in one district. Thats OK though.
