We dont even LIVE there anymore!

Lately, I've been more / less possessed by debt.  Marcie and I have a bunch of debt between us and together, like many couples out there.  Its just that, as time has gone on, I've been getting more mad at our debt, which in a way is a good thing...because I just want to pay our stuff off and get out of debt.  I'll write another blog about that some other time.

But in the mail today, I got a bill for 200 bucks for water at our trailer.  We moved away last September and the house has sat unoccupied sicne then.  We had some water damage during the winter and a plumber has been working on it as we are trying to sell it.  Of course, our first choice of realtors did...nothing to sell the house.  So now we are with another realtor who is currently waiting for the plumber to finish...but Im getting antsy and just want to get the house back on the market.

Either way...for the life of me, I can't figure out why the bill is 200 bucks for water...it was only 36 bucks last month, so this is very strange.  Called the plumber and left a voice mail and will call the City next week on Monday and figure out what is going on...just wasn't planning a 200 bill for water.

Do you have an outside valve? The reason I ask is when my parents moved into their new house they got a big water bill from their old house. It turned out to be some neighborhood kids were using the outside nozzle to fill their water balloons and then they didn't turn it off all the way so water was running non-stop for like a month and a half.

We don't have an outside valve to the house.  I went to the trailer today and didn't see any water on the ground or anything...the ground slopes so it would be easy to see.  Plus, the water is turned off to the house so Im going to call the city tomorrow and try to figure out what is going on.
