Well a couple of weeks ago, Marcie and I were at a bookstore and since Im not much of a reader (danged attention span, Im lucky enough to get these blog threads out, lol), I started browsing the store and came across a book on cat breeds.
Im not totally knowledgable in the world of cats, especially their breeds. Cleo is a big poofy cat...which I always just tossed into the domestic longhair breed. She is in that, but more specifically I found a section on the longhairs and the various breeds associated in that category and it seems that Cleo is a Norwegian Forest breed.
Heres the Wiki:

Cleo
Now, in this pic, it looks like she has a lot of grey/ white. She doesnt...thats just the reflection on her fur. She is dark black and as such, its a pain in the butt trying to get a picture of her because she just looks like a blob half the time and you can't see her legs or face depending on how you take it.
Since we got her from a shelter, we don't know if she is a purebred or not...most likely a mix of some sort. But alot of the characteristics they mention, fits her to a T.
She is also the first cat I've known (granted, I dont know that many anyways, lol) that has no qualms about laying on her back spread eagle as she sleeps away.
Hercules...I forgot what we figured he was...I don't think they have a breed called "little ball of endless energy"
